Dynamic QR code

The dynamic QR code enables AFIR-compliant charging and secure ad-hoc payment at charging points with a charging capacity of less than 50 kW. The display of the Technagon stations enables a transparent price display as well as the display of a QR code per charging point. The dynamic component offers the consumer an additional level of security: the display changes every few seconds and the code contains a unique token that only the payment service provider can verify.

The QR code changes every 60 seconds and refers to a URL for ad-hoc payment via a payment provider.

The URL contains unique, static components for charge point identification, a time stamp and a one-time password

The one-time password is generated during the scan, added to the URL and can only be verified by the payment provider.

Ad-hoc payment via the dynamic QR code is therefore a secure and reliable payment method.
