The charging module is connected to the charging station with just 2 screws and 2 cable connectors. It can be replaced in less than 5 minutes. Any qualified electrician can carry out the replacement themselves: fast, cost-effective, flexible.
Plug & Play
Recommissioning made simple: the internal PC automatically configures the new charging module. The public key of the new meter can be retrieved directly via the backend.
Without recalibration
Each charging module is certified according to calibration law. No on-site recalibration is needed, cutting field costs by over 50%. A single deployment of a certified electrician resolves the issue. Only the reporting of the new public key to the Federal Network Agency remains mandatory.

The charging module is certified as a self-contained unit under calibration law. This means it can be easily replaced when servicing is required.

The charging controller developed in-house is the heart of our charging stations and guarantees reliable, standard-compliant operation at all times. It controls charging processes in real time and enables a seamless connection to all common backend providers via OCPP.

Although the initial investment with Technagon is often higher than with some other charging technology, the advantage of Technagon becomes clear from the very first service case. Competitive products cause high costs due to calibration law repairs, long downtimes and official recalibrations. Our charging stations, on the other hand, do not require calibration-certified technicians and can be repaired quickly by any qualified electrician. The advantage grows with every additional service case. The quick and easy service increases availability/uptime and reduces the total cost of ownership (total costs over the service life).
Charging module replacement in just 5 minutes
Replacing the
charging module
The customer keeps a replacement charging module from Technagon in stock. If the charging technology should ever fail, all it takes is a quick swap – a specialist electrical company replaces the module in just a few minutes and the charging technology is ready for use again.
The customer simply sends the defective charging module to Technagon for repair. Once the repair has been completed, the module is returned to the customer and stored in their warehouse as a new replacement module. This creates a sustainable cycle that minimizes downtimes and conserves resources.
Replacing the
charging module with cover
In this case, the customer does not have a charging module in stock. Technagon therefore sends a cover to the customer for servicing. The customer can now remove the charging module and send it to Technagon for repair. The cover can be installed and now covers the opening created by removing the charging module.
After being repaired at Technagon, the charging module can now be sent back to the customer and easily installed on site.

The Technagon service concept is based on the idea of making maintenance and repair as simple and efficient as possible. Thanks to the modular product design, central components such as the charging module can be replaced quickly and easily.
Serviceability is a central component of Technagon’s product philosophy. Our charging stations are designed in such a way that maintenance and servicing can be carried out directly on site with minimal time expenditure.
Instead of laboriously checking or replacing individual components, the affected charging module is replaced completely. This enables rapid recommissioning, minimizes the risk of faults and simplifies the entire service process.
The service concept applies to all current AC charging stations from Technagon.
The charging module bundles all relevant charging and billing components. In the event of a fault, it is therefore not necessary to open or replace the entire column – replacing the module is sufficient. This saves time, reduces downtime and simplifies processing.
